We spend 20+ minutes using every tool before writing a review. We score on 5 dimensions rated 0-100: Ease of Use (20% weight), Output Quality (30%), Value for Money (20%), Feature Depth (15%), and Free Tier (15%). The weighted average becomes the overall score, displayed on each review in the familiar X/5 format (e.g., 4.5/5 = 90/100).
Never. Our scores are based entirely on testing. Some links are affiliate links (we disclose this), but affiliates have zero influence on our scores or rankings.
We refresh reviews monthly and whenever a tool ships a major update. Every review shows a 'Last updated' date so you know how current our information is.
